Jack Skellington is a fictional character, a fantastic hero of Tim Burton's poem "The Nightmare Before Christmas" of the eponymous puppet cartoon based on her. Jack acts like a gentleman (though dead). So he is graceful and patient, trying to please everyone. But he has a very unusual logic - so he decided to do the work of Santa Claus in order to get into the spirit of Christmas. He also does not share Sally's feelings, but at the end of the cartoon he really falls in love with her. He pays no attention to how people react to him when he was Santa.
