The Child, also known as the Target, is a Force-sensitive Foundling Mandalorian of an unknown race, the same as the Jedi Yoda. During the New Republic era, he was 50 years old, despite being extremely young. He was held by a group of mercenaries - no one on Arval-7. Various forces in the galaxy, including the surviving remnants of the Galactic Empire, dispatched bounty hunters to capture or destroy the Target.
