Suyuki is Sokka's girlfriend, leader of the Kyoshi warriors. A very sweet and kind girl. At first, she is quite aggressive towards the heroes, because she is afraid that they will drag the neutral island of Kyoshi into a war, but then she is imbued with their ideas, agrees to teach Sokka martial arts, and he even starts to succeed. Over time, imbued with the courage of Sokka, falls in love with him and carries this feeling until the end of the series. He also helps Aang during his wanderings, which leads her and other Kyoshi warriors into the clutches of Azula and to the imprisonment of the people of Fire in the prison.
