Philips is a trademark of consumer electronics, household appliances for the kitchen and home, as well as beauty and health products.

Koninklijke Philips N.V. (English Royal Philips) appeared in 1891 as a small factory for the production of electric lamas. Now it is an international concern, whose activities are divided into three areas:

    healthcare
    lighting solutions
    consumer goods

In 2012, Philips and one of the world's largest manufacturers of computer monitors and LCD TVs TPV Technology (brand AOC) created a joint venture called TP Vision. The shares were distributed as follows: Hong Kong TPV Technology received 70% of the new company, and Royal Philips concern received 30%. That TP Vision today is engaged in the production of televisions under the Philips brand.
